Mark is a Director of the firm since 1998. He completed his articles at the firm in 1995. He currently specialises in conveyancing work and notarial work for corporate clients, developers and individual clients. He has a strong litigation and Labour Law background which has proven useful as an added service to his property law client base.

With his years on the South Coast, 25 in total, he has acquired a wealth of knowledge in the local property market and has developed solid relationships with land surveyors, town planners and municipal officials, all of which is of great benefit to developers and all other landowners. Many years of litigation experience has also proved invaluable in property transactions with technical legal issues and disputes.

Backed by a large number of co-directors, associates, consultants and paralegals on whom he is able to rely, Mark is able to provide exceptional solutions to his clients and render a service that has seen him regarded as a specialist who will get the job done. His clients have access to him literally 24 hours of the day as he realises that business today waits for no-one. He has recently engaged in delivering seminars to estate agents in order to enable them to accumulate professional non-verifiable CPD points.

Mark involves himself in client businesses in order to add value with his knowledge of Property Law. He has for the past 10 years stood as Chairman for the Holiday Club, the largest leisure club in Africa, and is a Director for a number of Resorts. He was Chairman of Umhlanga Cabanas and is currently a Director of Dikhololo Resort (over 250 units). He has served on Tourism and Chamber of Commerce Boards and is currently Co-opted on the Creston College Private School Board. Every day starts with an early gym session. He is a keen golfer when he has the time. A long weekend in the Berg is where he goes to recharge his batteries. Mark looks forward to many more years of practice with his loyal clients and those he is yet to meet.
