Shiksha was conferred her Bachelors of Law degree at the University of the Free State, in 2019. In 2021, she completed the 6 month structured coursework of Practical Legal Training through LEAD and UNISA. Thereafter in 2022, she began her legal career as a Candidate Legal Practitioner at Legal Aid South Africa, Port Shepstone Local Office and worked in Ramsgate, Port Shepstone and Umzumbe District Magistrates’ Courts. After successfully passing the Attorneys Competency Based Examinations, in 2023, she was duly admitted as a Legal Practitioner of the High Court of South Africa in 2024.

While she is passionate about criminal, compliance and cyber law, Shiksha is multi-faceted and currently undertakes matters in criminal, civil and family court. Her interests are in arts, music and academia and her hobbies include artwork, reading and traveling.
